Mr. HUNG CHEUNG KWONG was not just a biology teacher; he was a vibrant soul brimming with passion and energy, dedicated to various fascinating hobbies. Among his many interests, amateur aviation, small-sized car collecting, and photography were his primary passions. His enviable collection boasted about 20 exquisite Hasselblad and Rolleiflex cameras, which he used to capture stunning images that tell stories.

Though he never officially piloted a plane, Mr. Hung’s love for aviation and photography soared to new heights. Between 1960 and 1970, friends graciously took him above the breathtaking skies of Hong Kong, where he immortalized the city from above. His aerial photographs are treasures for photography enthusiasts and historians, celebrated for their sharpness, beauty, and informative nature.

In addition to capturing the skies, Mr. Hung documented everyday life, revealing the spirit and devotion of the people during that era. His images reflect a community filled with optimism, showcasing the hard work and aspirations of those who believed in the promise of their beloved city.

This is a hard cover 30cm x 30cm photo book, 120 pages, elegantly side wrapped with cloth and gold stamped.  There are 111 old Hong Kong photos in high resolution.
