Benny Lau過去十幾年一直從事多媒體影像創作，於2017年開始以手機作為拍攝相片及影片作品的主要工具，同年創立「手機攝影同學會」手機拍攝教學平台，將攝影藝術概念及技術應用於手機拍攝上，透過舉辦各種工作坊推廣手機攝影和拍片文化。2017年至2021年期間，Benny以手機攝影作品參加多個國際攝影比賽，並獲得超過100個獎項，這本攝影集收錄當中47幅彩色及30幅黑白精選獲獎作品。拍攝內容取材自攝影師日常生活與旅行體驗，涵蓋風景、人像、建築、動物及靜物等多種主題類型，並且綜合應用手機獨有的各種拍攝模式，像是進行了一場當代數碼攝影實驗，探究手機攝影於記錄與創作層面的可能性。
Benny Lau has been engaged in multimedia creation for the past ten years. In 2017, he began to use mobile phones as the main tool for taking photos and videos. In the same year, he founded the "Mobile Photography Alumni Association" mobile phone shooting teaching platform, applying photography art concepts and techniques to mobile phones. In terms of shooting, we promote mobile phone photography and filming culture by organizing various workshops. From 2017 to 2021, Benny participated in several international photography competitions with mobile phone photography and won more than 100 awards. This photobook contains 47 color and 30 black and white selected award-winning works. The shooting content is drawn from the photographer’s daily life and travel experience, covering landscapes, portraits, architecture, animals and still life and other themes, and comprehensively applying various shooting modes unique to mobile phones, as if conducting a contemporary digital photography experiment, exploring mobile phones. The possibility of photography at the level of recording and creation.
