South China Morning Post (Oct 2022) - “The documentary-style photographs of Lau Koon Tan provide an evocative chronicle of the past.  For 60 years he has been capturing moments in Hong Kong, mainly focusing on people’s livelihood and urban development.  His first photo book Old Hong Kong - The Way We Were comprises 108 images from the 1960s and 1970s. Its launch is being marked with exhibitions at 1881 Heritage and EastPro Gallery.”
